Does Not Going To Church Make You A Bad Person....?
Look at this view.
It is completely blissful.
As I was here I felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
Now some can look at this picture and say "cool boat".
But please, don't overlook something as important as this.
Expand your mind.
To me, this picture is so much more than just a sick pic.
It was a moment of faith.
A moment I will never forget.
As I stood here looking at that breath taking sky, I had a thought.
If god can make something as tranquil, and breath taking as this, don't you think since he is powerful enough to do that, you can trust him with your life as well?
You know it's not just the picture.
It was everything around me.
The sweet noise of the water swaying back and forth, hitting the doc.
It was the sublime sound of birds chirping and the smell of the salt.
Sitting there with the appreciation of all of that, made me never forget this moment.
That's what I want life to be about. Unforgettable moments.
When you have gratitude towards god, he will bring you the very things you are thankful for.
I once had someone ask me why I go to the beach on Sundays in the summer instead of going to church.
I want to make something VERY clear. Going to church does not make you a good person.
Not going to church does NOT make you a bad person either.
But truth be told I could only think of one answer.
I would rather be sitting on a boat thinking about god, rather than sitting in church wishing I was fishing.
